What we should be doing is:
Rather than using Corn to make ethanol for gasoline to burn in our cars, which only drives up our own food prices,
We should be using Rice, rather than corn, to make ethanol for gasoline to burn in our cars.
By using Rice instead of corn, we still get the ethanol for our gasoline, but we do not drive up our food prices in the process,
Instead we drive up someone else's food prices, the Asians, who eat rice rather than corn. In other words, we export the high
Food prices onto the Asian countries, most of which we have trade deficits with, we stabilize our food prices at home, and
We get cheaper gasoline in the process.
