Watching a laser machine gun clean rusty metal is a perfect midweek meditation [feedly]

----
Watching a laser machine gun clean rusty metal is a perfect midweek meditation
// The Verge

The internet is full of tips on how to make cleaning fun, but I want more. I want an invention that would make the task nothing but pure joy: house-cleaning lasers. All of the mesmerizing visual effects of a laser light show! None of the backbreaking scrubbing of spring cleaning!

A small step toward my fantasy is available today. The process is called "laser ablation," which is a scientific term for using very focused lasers to remove one material from another. Laser ablation is typically used to clean rust and grime off metal.

The handheld version seen below is made by a Belgian company called P-Laser. As P-Laser engineer Thijs Peeters told Digital Trends, it's basically a laser machine gun that shoots a lot of light bullets. "When the light hits the surface, the dirt layer and any oxides under it absorb the energy and then evaporate or crimp off, leaving no residue," he said.

The laser even creates a calming, ASMR-like sound if you're into that sort of thing — but even if you're not, watching light blast away rust is a thousand times better than going at it yourself with a Brillo pad.

Lightning strike kills 323 reindeer in Norway [feedly]

----
Lightning strike kills 323 reindeer in Norway
// The Verge

A lightning strike in Norway has killed more than 300 reindeer, according to reports from local media. A spokesman for the Norwegian Nature Inspectorate (NNI) told NTB, the Norwegian News Agency, that 323 reindeer were found dead on Friday in an area near Hardangervidda, in the southern part of the country. In a press release published Sunday, the Norwegian Environment Agency said that 70 of the dead reindeer were calves. Officials believe that the animals were killed by lightning during a heavy thunderstorm, marking what could be the deadliest lightning strike in history.

"We've heard about animals being struck by lightning and killed, but I don't remember hearing about lightning killing animals on this scale before," NNI spokesman Knut Nylend tells NTB. "We don't know if it was one or more lighting strike; that would only be speculation."

(Norwegian Environment Agency)

Nylend discovered the animals in a remote part of a private hunting area, and NIN employees have been dispatched to the region to take samples from the reindeer. Hardangervidda national park is home to an estimated 10,000 wild reindeer that migrate across the region every year. Nylend speculates that the reindeer may have been killed because they are often close to one another, and "they may have gathered even closer together out of fear" during the thunderstorm.

As BNO News notes, the deadliest lightning strike involving livestock occurred in 2005, when 68 cows were killed in Australia, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. The deadliest incident involving humans occurred in 1971, according to Guinness, when a lightning strike caused a Peruvian airline to crash into the Amazon, killing 91 people. The Guinness Book of World Records does not appear to track wildlife deaths due to lightning strikes.

The Obama administration wants to require electronic speed-limiting devices in big trucks and buses [feedly]

----
The Obama administration wants to require electronic speed-limiting devices in big trucks and buses
// The Verge

The US Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released a new proposal Friday to require heavy-duty vehicles like trucks and buses to include speed-limiting devices. If approved, all newly manufactured trucks, buses, and passenger vehicles weighing more than 26,000 pounds would be required to come equipped with devices limiting their speeds to 60-68 mph. That would cover big rigs, dump trucks, refuse haulers, many buses and other large work trucks.

The new rule is being touted by the feds as an important step toward fighting the rise in traffic fatalities across the country, as well as a key ingredient in lowering CO2 emissions. "In addition to saving lives, the projected fuel and emissions savings make this proposal a win for safety, energy conservation, and our environment," DOT Secretary Anthony Foxx said in a statement.

"a win for safety, energy conservation, and our environment"

Safety advocates note that research shows speed to be a crucial factor in nearly a quarter of all truck crashes. Since 1992 all trucks in the US have been manufactured with the speed-limiting equipment, but the trucking industry has resisted calls to "flip the switch" to activate this technology. "Speed limiters are an available solution to large trucks flagrantly exceeding highway speed limits and needlessly putting the public at grave risk," said Henry Jasny, senior vice president and general counsel for the Advocates For Highway and Auto Safety.

Perhaps surprisingly, the trucking industry is in support of the new mandate. "We know the cliché 'speed kills' is true when it comes to driving," Sean McNally, spokesman for the American Trucking Associations (ATA), told Trucks.com. "Speed is a factor in a third of all vehicle crashes and 23 percent of all truck crashes, so slowing our vehicles down can have tremendous safety benefits."

The ATA has urged safety regulators to limit the speed of all vehicles, including passenger cars, to 65 mph. But safety groups want the speed capped at 60 mph.

Gun grabbers’ next target: Gun-owning seniors [feedly]

----
Gun grabbers' next target: Gun-owning seniors
// Personal Liberty Digest™

A professor at Johns Hopkins University s urging lawmakers to consider creating new gun laws which require American senior citizens to take competency tests to prove that they are stable enough to own firearms.

According to Shannon Frattaroli, PhD., the new requirements are necessary due to rising dementia and suicide rates among older adults.

"So much of the dialogue around guns in this country has been around crime, and lately, mass shootings. And the older population is not part of that. But when you look at the suicide issue, it's impossible to ignore older Americans," the professor told New America. "With that in mind, any conversation about guns has to include a conversation [about] gun ownership among older adults. There's definitely more to be done on that issue in the United States."

The academic also said older adults should consider weighing the risks against the benefits of gun ownership.

"Older adults need to consider the risk whether an actual home invasion is likely to occur, versus the likelihood that the [older] person would use that gun to do harm to themselves, or a grandchild would find that gun, or they would harm someone coming into the home who's not there for a home invasion, someone there for a legitimate purpose like a caretaker," she said.

Frattaroli continued, "The unintended and tragic potential family impact is much greater for older people than that scenario that the home would be invaded in the middle of the night and they would need to ward off that criminal with a gun."

Earlier this year, the White House announced that it was working with the Social Security Administration to "begin the rulemaking process to include information in the background check system about beneficiaries who are prohibited from possessing a firearm for mental health reasons." The move would expand the NCIS reporting to cover all of the nation's seniors.

Watch: Hillary Clinton really is losing her mind
// Personal Liberty Digest™

"I don't want any excuses," Clinton said at a campaign stop in Cleveland. "I'm a kind of 'no excuse' person." And the whole world laughed.

Clinton made the remark as she championed government programs to make available more vocational and technical education opportunities for out of work Americans.

"I want everybody who's willing to work to be prepared," Clinton said. "I don't want excuses. I'm a kind of no excuse person. If you are willing to do the work, I want to make sure that we've got an economy that will produce the jobs, and then I want to make four-year college affordable."

But claiming she's a "no excuse person" was just too much for many Americans observers of her political career over the years.

You know, because of all of her excuses.

Like the ones about her emails at the State Department…

Hillary Clinton emails are a complete mess; contradict nearly everything she's claimed about Servergate

The 2nd Amendment solution [feedly]

----
The 2nd Amendment solution
// Personal Liberty Digest™

The mainstream media and establishment politicos blew a gasket on Tuesday after Donald Trump reminded them about the 2nd Amendment solution.

In his North Carolina stump speech, Trump said:

Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know.

Of course, the media collective claimed this was a threat directed at Hillary Clinton. The psychotic political class called Trump "dangerous," and called for "investigations."

The Witch from Chappaqua even sought to fund-raise off it. Clinton campaign manager, the weasel Robbie Mook, told CNBC:

This is simple — what Trump is saying is dangerous. A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way.

A Clinton campaign fundraising email went out that said:

We all need to stand up right now and show that we don't tolerate this kind of politics in America – before future candidates get the impression that they would benefit from running this kind of campaign.

Trump was not calling for SHillary's assassination. Assassinating her would be counterproductive. The globalist cabal has many more puppets to replace her with, though they'd have to look far and wide to find one as amoral, corrupt, diabolical, self-serving, calculating, unlikable and shrill.

Trump and his campaign clarified by stating that Trump was simply prompting supporters of the 2nd Amendment to get active and turn back the coming Clinton gun-grab by beating her at the ballot box.

But it may have been meant as a subtle reminder that there is a solution to overreaching government. And it's one that I predict will be the result if the political class uses the Supreme Court to try and roll back the 2nd Amendment.

The establishment class fears the 2nd Amendment because they know they cannot accomplish their goals to complete the enslavement of Americans as long as the American people are armed. And that's precisely why the Founders codified it into the Bill of Rights.

Mook's statement that "A person seeking to be the President of the United States should not suggest violence in any way" ignores history.

Before he became the third president, Thomas Jefferson wrote:

What country can preserve its liberties, if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.

And:

The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all.

And James Madison, who succeeded Jefferson and is known as the "Father of the Constitution," wrote in Federalist No. 48:

[T]he advantage of being armed… forms a barrier against the enterprises of ambition, more insurmountable than any which a simple government of any form can admit of.

The "enterprises of ambition" he spoke of was a government that steals the people's liberty.

That the people would buy the lie that Trump's statement was somehow out of line demonstrates the power political correctness, the government propaganda machine and the public indoctrination system — otherwise known as "public education" – has had over the people's thought processes.

Finally, it's an absurd lie to assert, as Mook did, that the Witch herself has not hinted at – and in fact outright advocated  —  violence.

In 2002 she participated in pushing the U.S. into an illegal and immoral war in Iraq which displaced and killed millions of innocent Iraqis – a war from which the country has not recovered. In 2008 she suggested she was staying in the presidential race because Barack Obama might be assassinated before he was nominated. In 2011, as her policies were causing the unimaginable suffering, displacement and death of hundreds of thousands of innocent Libyans, she flippantly said of Moammar Gadhafi, "We came, we saw, he died."

On the campaign trail she's advocating war against Syria, Russia and more – nations that have not attacked the U.S.

She advocates for the murder of the soon-to-be-born up until the moment of birth.

So much for not suggesting violence.

Emails show Google’s close relationship with the White House [feedly]

----
Emails show Google's close relationship with the White House
// The Verge

For years, Google has been building a lobbying machine that outpaces its Silicon Valley peers, turning the internet giant into a major Washington presence. In 2014, the company surpassed AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast in lobbying spending dollars, and it's been particularly adept at building relationships with the White House. As of March 2015, Google averaged about one meeting a week with the Obama administration, and Google staff frequently move into jobs with the White House, or vice versa. But the figures on meetings and revolving doors don't always show how Google maneuvers those relationships when facing a fight.

More than 1,500 pages of emails

The nonprofit group Campaign for Accountability recently launched a project to compile documents about the company's lobbying practices, obtained through the Freedom of Information Act. The group says the repository of documents will be a resource for monitoring how Google interacts with the government. The first installment, which the group obtained through an independent researcher and shared with The Verge, features more than 1,500 pages of emails between the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and Google employees.

In the email exchanges, Google employees coordinate their messaging with the White House, occasionally steering around divisions within the administration. Nothing in the documents suggests improper behavior; they are a window into Google's high-level work on policy matters, and provide a case study on how deep the company's lobbying efforts go.

Provides a case study of a Google persuasion campaign

In December 2012, Google saw a threat, as thousands of representatives met at the World Conference on International Telecommunications to consider a proposed revision of the International Telecommunication Regulations, which govern how communication services are used around the world. After years, the conference was set to determine whether to bring more of the internet under the purview of the regulations. The US government had a seat at the table, as did Google, which sent private industry delegates to the conference to advise the US.

Google cast opposition to the revision as a fight for internet freedom, and certainly others in the tech industry took that line, although critics argued Google was more interested in preventing increased costs for using global network infrastructure. The emails obtained by the Campaign for Accountability help sketch the anatomy of a Google persuasion campaign, as the company detected and dealt with perceived problems before, during, and after a crisis.

"We're not making any judgements or drawing any conclusions about specific policies that Google has pursued," says Anne Weismann, the Campaign for Accountability's executive director. It's not clear how the campaign is funded, and the group declined to discuss donors, including any who may conflict with Google. "Our only bias is that Google is not transparent enough," Weismann says.

"Our only bias is that Google is not transparent enough."

Discussions with the White House started weeks ahead of the conference, the emails show, and the White House alerted Google to an issue early on. R. David Edelman, senior advisor for Internet Policy, reached out to the company after documents related to WCIT began to leak. "Since Google is mentioned by name several times here, I thought you should see if you haven't already," Edelman wrote to Google Senior Policy Counsel Johanna Shelton, sending her a Forbes article.

As the conference started, Google contacted the Office of Science and Technology Policy with concerns that the State Department would agree to an unfavorable deal. Ross LaJeunesse, a delegate to the conference and then Google's Global Head of Free Expression and International Relations, wrote an email to the White House's Edelman expressing worry that the United States would sign on rather than face "the optics" of being one of the few countries not to.

Google was concerned a deal would be reached

LaJeunesse wrote that his "read" was that the State Department was "interested in reaching a deal." At the end of the note, he wrote, "Please keep my fingerprints off this, but given our mutual interest in this working out well for the internet/innovation..." Edelman replied that he had faith in the delegation ambassador appointed to negotiate the talks, but agreed that the proposal then under consideration was unacceptable to the Office of Science and Technology Policy.

After Google sensed that potential hurdle, it went to great lengths to convince the State Department that it was making the wrong move. At one point, "Eric" — likely referring to then-executive chairman Eric Schmidt, although his last name isn't mentioned — made a call to Hillary Clinton's office. "I understand that Eric personally called Secretary Clinton's office, which was an impressive show of force," Edelman wrote to LaJeunesse in an email. "I'd be curious to know his reaction to the conversation." It's unclear who "Eric" spoke to: Clinton herself, or a member of the staff. (Schmidt is now a supporter of Clinton's presidential campaign.)

Ultimately, 89 countries out of the 151 participating signed on, with the United States one of those against. It was a complicated, mixed result: the final decision reached may have been more about signaling what binding resolutions could be made, rather than actually passing such resolutions. LaJeunesse, in an email to Edelman, bluntly said "we lost," although Edelman responded, "The world lost. This treaty now has no legitimacy."

"I understand that Eric personally called Secretary Clinton's office, which was an impressive show of force."

It's difficult to say what role Google, which declined to comment, may have had in the US decision to not sign. But the company and the Office of Science and Technology Policy discussed working for the same cause, even against others in government with misgivings. After the vote, Edelman suggested a "post-WCIT huddle" with LaJeunesse, and again alluded to internal disagreements.

"I'd like to hear your thoughts on what worked, what didn't, and where to go from here," Edelman wrote. "And let me just say what's been said a thousand times: thank you for you and your team's tireless efforts — even amidst adversity within our own ranks — on behalf of the US and the free Internet."

Exchanges between LaJeunesse and Edelman also discussed how to talk about WCIT publicly. "I'm working with DC team for a strategy of how to characterize WCIT (victory, loss or a less manichean spin) and what that, in turn, means moving forward," LaJeunesse wrote. The emails show LaJeunesse and Edelman set up a private meeting, as Edelman wrote that a White House delegate gathering could resolve questions over "how to discuss the issue."

Ultimately, whatever discussions were had about how to discuss the vote, Google continued ringing alarm bells. In a statement later sent to reporters, a Google spokesperson said the vote showed that "governments want to increase regulation and censorship of the Internet."

The Perseid Meteor Shower Could Be Spectacular This Year [feedly]

----
The Perseid Meteor Shower Could Be Spectacular This Year
// Neatorama

The annual Perseid meteor shower is scheduled to peak on the nights of August 11th and 12th (Thursday and Friday). Normally, with the right conditions you can see up to 60 shooting stars every hour, but there's a possibility that this year will be special, with an rare outburst of meteors that will light up the sky in a way you've never seen.

The Perseids are debris from the comet Swift-Tuttle, which orbits the Sun every 133 years. When it gets close to the Sun, the heat from our star turns the ices in the comet into gas, forming the long tail. Small bits of rocky debris also slough off and trail behind the comet. When the Earth plows into these, they burn up in our atmosphere to form the shower.

However, they're not alone in space. Jupiter's gravity tugs on the stream of particles, causing their orbits to shift. Sophisticated computer simulations indicate that this year, the Earth should be plowing through a denser than usual part of the stream, creating as many as 200 shooting stars per hour!

So mark your calendars, and check out Phil Plait's meteor shower viewing guide for the best Perseid experience at Bad Astronomy. Don't miss the part about the weird sounds caused by meteors.

ATF forgot to comply with policy, accidentally creating gun owner database [feedly]

----
ATF forgot to comply with policy, accidentally creating gun owner database
// Personal Liberty Digest™

The government's top watchdog revealed in a new report that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) essentially maintained a database of law-abiding gun owners by ignoring its own policies.

According to Government Accountability Office (GAO) auditors, ATF failed to remove the names of gun purchasers from its Multiple Sales (MS) database and another system called Access 2000 which allowed it to stockpile information on lawful gun owners by scouring the records of out of business federal firearms license holders.

FFLs are required to report to the ATF the names of customers who purchase multiple firearms at once. ATF is supposed to keep the names on file for no longer than two years, after which policies require that the agency remove identifying information about the buyers if the firearms haven't been linked to a crime.

But for more than two decades, the agency has failed to comply with the privacy protection policies with regularity.

From the GAO report:

In September 1996, we reported that ATF had not fully implemented its 2-year deletion requirement. During the course of our 1996 review, ATF provided documentation that it had subsequently deleted the required records and that it would conduct weekly deletions in the future. Similarly, as a result of our current review, according to ATF documentation, in May 2016, the agency deleted the 10,041 records that should have been deleted earlier. However, given that this has been a 20-year issue, it is critical that ATF develop consistency between its deletion policy, the design of the MS system, and the timeliness with which deletions are carried out. By aligning the MS system design and the timeliness of deletion practices with its policy, ATF could ensure that it maintains only useful purchaser information while safeguarding the privacy of firearms purchasers.

ATF's Access 2000 system was set up as a voluntary way for FFL-holders to more easily comply with ATF requests for information.  GAO noted in its report that the system works well for in-business FFLs from both a convenience and a privacy perspective.

From the report:

Industry members—not ATF—retain possession and control of their disposition records and, according to ATF officials, they may withdraw from A2K and remove their records from the servers at any time. A2K includes a secure user web interface to each of the servers and ATF may only obtain A2K disposition information by searching individual industry member servers by exact firearm serial number. Through this search, ATF obtains the same information from each industry member as it would otherwise obtain by phone, fax, or e-mail, and in similar disaggregated form

The situation is different, however, for FFLs that have gone out of business and no longer subject to ATF requirements. ATF officials essentially made the decision to gather up the records of defunct FFLs and store them in a government-controlled database.

The GAO report noted:

Beginning in 2000, ATF maintained A2K disposition data from out-of-business industry members on a single partitioned server within NTC, and removed the records from the server in March 2016. ATF's maintenance of the disposition records in this manner violated the appropriations act restriction on consolidation or centralization.

According to the GAO's auditors, ATF has since removed the policy-violating records associated with both systems.

But don't expect the ATF to give up on trying to find ways to quietly patch together a de facto national gun owner registry anytime soon. Just last weekend, ATF Deputy Director Thomas Brandon complained that the agency isn't able to build such a database in plain sight.

"There's a lot of things that don't make sense in this town, you know?" he told CBS. "And, so, yeah, would it be efficient and effective? Absolutely. Would the taxpayers benefit with public safety? Absolutely. Are we allowed to do it? No."

Magical new color-mixing pen may break world record for most colors in a pen [feedly]

Magical new color-mixing pen may break world record for most colors in a pen
// The Verge

Prototypes of real-life eyedropper tools already exist (like the Spector, which can identify fonts and colors), and the Cronzy pen is no different when it comes to detecting colors. But what makes Cronzy special is that it contains ink cartridges that let you actually draw these colors you've scanned. Cronzy claims that it can scan and draw 16 million colors, collecting "all the existing colors and shades of the world!" The only way we can put these bold claims to the test is if we count out each one (coming soon to a 23-day Facebook live video near you).

Check out this gif from the promotional video, which demonstrates how the pen would work:

You can also use the app on iOS, Android, and Windows phone to choose a color:

OfficeMax

At first glance, the concept for the Cronzy pen seems wildly disputable. This video of a prototype, which uses an algorithm and solenoid valves for mixing CMYKW colors, has won me over though:

It's unclear whether the colors are mixed on the fly as the colors are chosen and you write. A lot of things are unclear at this stage! Cronzy has two months left to reach its goal of $200,000 on Indiegogo, and I'm crossing my fingers that it does, so I can take a better look at it. Until it becomes a reality though, we still have these sweet retro pens to tide us over:

A former National Security Agency official says the government has everything it needs to settle the question of whether Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton put American lives at risk by using private email at the State Department.

Clinton, during an interview over the weekend, again asserted that none of the emails she sent or received via her private server were classified at the time.

The former top diplomat added that she's put the email scandal behind her because,  "Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I've said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails."

Clinton, of course, is lying.

In fact, The Washington Post's fact-checkers gave Clinton four "Pinocchios" for the remarks.

"Clinton is cherry-picking statements by Comey to preserve her narrative about the unusual setup of a private email server," wrote the Post's Glenn Kessler. "This allows her to skate past the more disturbing findings of the FBI investigation."

The more disturbing findings of the FBI investigation being that she lied to members of Congress about her email setup and covered her tracks by totally disregarding government transparency laws meant to give Americans the tools to keep government officials in check.

As Clinton began getting called out for her weekend lies on Monday, her campaign went into spin mode with the line that the American public is simply misunderstanding the whole situation.

"Well and you don't understand this. That's simply not true. You just don't send classified information over the unclassified system," Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook told MSNBC's Joe Scarborough when pressed about the former top diplomat forcing members of government to send classified information to her unclassified server.

He also added the "important caveat" that Americans will never really know whether any of the information actually was classified because Clinton destroyed the evidence.

"We can't see these emails," Mook explained. "We don't know. We don't know if they were marked. We don't know if they were marked properly. We don't know. And so the fact of the matter is, we are having to rely on what [Comey] is saying, and included in what he said was he did not believe that when she received these emails she had any reason to believe they were classified."

But the Clinton campaign shouldn't be so sure the emails aren't going to resurface. According to William Binney, a former top NSA official, the intelligence agency he worked at for three decades has a copy of every email Clinton sent or received.

"The NSA database, which is shown of course in the (Edward) Snowden material released,  shows a direct access into the NSA database by the FBI and the CIA. Which there is no oversight of, by the way. So that means that NSA and a number of agencies in the U.S. government also have those emails," Binney said.

"So if the FBI really wanted them they can go into that database and get them right now," he added.

And if the FBI refuses to do its job, Binney suggested that it may only be a matter of time before a disgruntled intelligence employee leaks the information to the public.

The former intelligence official noted that the recent DNC hack was likely the result of a similar situation rather than the work of foreign hackers.

"Hillary … has a problem with NSA because she compromised Gamma material.  Now that is the most sensitive material at NSA. And so there were a number of NSA officials complaining …that she did that," he said. "She lifted the material that was in her emails directly out of Gamma reporting. That is a direct compromise of the most sensitive material at the NSA. So she's got a real problem there. So there are many people who have problems with what she has done in the past. So I don't necessarily look at the Russians as the only one(s) who got into those emails."

Pelosi vows Clinton will reshape America [feedly]

Pelosi vows Clinton will reshape America
// Personal Liberty Digest™

Immigration, the Supreme Court, gun laws and the nation's institutions are all in for major changes if Hillary Clinton makes it to the White House, according to Democrat Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi made the promise last week, just before the Democrats officially nominated Clinton as their candidate for president.

"We know what is on the line in what truly is the most important election of our lifetime: for the future of the Supreme Court, for the fate of a planet imperiled by climate change, for the sake of immigration reform, for the promise of an America that rewards hard work instead of those who exploit America's workers, for women's reproductive rights, equal rights, civil rights, and to do what is right for our service members, veterans and military families who have given so much for our country," said Pelosi.

Back in May, Hoover Institution senior fellow Alvin Rabushka did a pretty thorough job of warning the nation what a Clinton transformation of America could mean.

He wrote that in addition to giving liberals run over the Constitution, Clinton could use the bully pulpit to:

Weaken the First Amendment. Reduce free speech by restricting conservative talk radio and other conservative expression. Increase the scope of content designated "hate" speech, subject to federal prosecution. Limit religious freedom by requiring all religious organizations to abide by the rules of federal programs.

Weaken, preferably eliminate, the Second Amendment. Reduce gun ownership by banning specific guns. Instruct the attorney general to litigate existing gun laws and reverse previous court decisions to reduce and eliminate private ownership of guns.

Issue executive orders to bypass Congress and impose federal regulations by decree. The potential range of measures is described in the 31 issues listed on Clinton's campaign website. Her potential use of executive orders, perhaps even more than President Barack Obama, would further lift the United States off its constitutional moorings.

Appoint an Internal Revenue Service commissioner who will increase audits of conservative individuals (and others on her enemies list) and all other conservative-oriented organizations.

Appoint a Securities and Exchange Commission head to harass wealthy Republican donors.

Vitiate what remains of the Ninth and 10th amendments by shifting existing state powers to the federal government, further concentrating federal authority over the states.

Erode private property rights by imposing more restrictions on its development and usage.

"Her ability to remake America is limited only by her imagination and those of her supporters," he added.

Yikes.
