Fwd: Horse sense
Lewiston Idaho Veterinarians' Letter to the Editor:
The present Ebola crisis in the world is frightening. I have submitted the following letter to the editor of the Lewiston Morning Tribune:
Editor, Lewiston Morning Tribune:
If I wish to import a horse into the United States from Liberia or any African country other than Morocco , the horse needs to undergo a 60 day quarantine period at a USDA approved quarantine facility prior to mingling with the general population of horses in this country. Africa has a disease called African Horse Sickness that does not exist in the US ; this is the way we have kept it out of this country. African Horse Sickness does not cause disease in people, only horses; our government has determined that it would be devastating to the US horse industry if it were to come here.
The United States (and virtually all other countries) require a myriad of tests and often quarantine prior to bringing in a foreign animal.
I can't legally cross state lines in the United States with a horse or cow without a health certificate signed by a USDA accredited veterinarian stating that the animal has been inspected and found free of infectious disease. In most cases blood tests are also required. In fact I can't legally cross the Snake River and ride my horse in Idaho without a health certificate and a negative blood test for Equine Infectious Anemia.
I'm not complaining; the United States of America , the States of Idaho and Washington as well as the other 48 states take the health of our livestock very seriously, and we have a very good record at keeping foreign animal diseases out of our country. I am happy to do my part to maintain biosecurity in our animal population.
If I am a resident of Liberia incubating Ebola, to enter the United States all I need to do is present a valid visa, and lie when asked if I have been exposed to Ebola. Within hours (no quarantine required) I can be walking the streets of any city in the United States .
I feel very fortunate to live in a country that values our animals so highly.

Three Cheers for Iowa!!!!!!
1. Obama Flies Illegal teens to Iowa.
2. The Iowa Governor Flies them back to Honduras.
Governor Bransted of Iowa had announced: "Iowa will not take any illegal children."
Obama overruled him and sent him 124 teens, aged 13-19. When the plane landed in Des Moines the airport manager called the office of the Governor. The Governor drove to the airport and chartered a United Airlines plane from Chicago. Within 8 hours all the teens were fed and loaded on that plane. The plane left Iowa at 8 o'clock Des Moines time.
It's next stop was Honduras. The plane landed and was unloaded. Four Social Workers from Iowa made sure the teens got safely to the terminal, and the Social Workers told the Honduran officials, "Here are your teens, they have no papers, you let them come illegally to America. We refuse to take them.
Iowa has its own laws. Minors from outside our country not accompanied by adults may not enter our state."
Iowa has not heard one thing from Washington.
IF YOU LIKE IT, PLEASE PASS IT ON!!!

If someone asks you what "low information voter"means, email them a copy of this.
To better understand the mind of this woman be sure to read the whole 'letter to the editor,' including her definition of a "natural born citizen"!
From the Carteret County N.C. News-Times (Editor's note: The following Letter to the Editor, published in the Jan. 23 edition, has gone viral on the Web after a reader linked it to a Fox News page.
We have now discovered something with less intelligence than a moon rock. I am now dumber for having read it. When you're done, share it. Cause no one deserves to suffer thru this alone. They are among us and they can vote.
Scary isn't it! WOW!
Fwd: Traitors
LIST OF TRAITORS
Is your Senator on this list of traitors??
Ask yourself - vote accordingly!
Democrats are still fixated on the evil Republicans asking embarrassing questions about Libya, the IRS, AP wiretaps, and Immigration Reform. When, oh when will the USA wake up?
Over the weekend, we came four votes away from the United
States Senate giving our Constitutional rights over to the United Nations.
In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will
stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:
To uphold Second Amendment rights and PREVENT the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.
The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration,
would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S., and had language that
would have implemented an INTERNATIONAL GUN REGISTRY
on all private guns and ammo.
Astonishingly, 46 of our United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.
Here are the 46 senators that voted to give your rights to the U.N.

Kaspersky and INTERPOL issue global alert: ATMs spitting out millions without cards
// Betanews
ATMs (automated teller machines) are everywhere and we all use them regularly. That has always made them a target for bad guys -- a card reader can steal all sorts of information. But in the wake of events like the Target and Home Depot breaches things have risen to a new level. So high, in fact, that security company Kaspersky and law enforcement organization INTERPOL have issued a warning.
It seems that ATMs are pouring out money to criminals who are not even using any sort of credit or debit card. While this isn't a problem for any particular individual, it is a major one for the banks, which makes it everyone's worry.
This is apparently a global problem, which explains the involvement by INTERPOL. It all stems from a recent investigation conducted by Kaspersky.
"Kaspersky Lab's experts performed a forensic investigation into cyber-criminal attacks targeting multiple ATMs around the world. During the course of this investigation, the company's researchers discovered a piece of malware infecting ATMs that allowed attackers to empty the cash machines via direct manipulation, stealing millions of dollars", the security company states.
The malware results from the bad guys being able to physically access the machines and insert a CD that contains the malware, which is dubbed Tyupkin. The ATM is then rebooted and under the control of the attacker.
"To make the scam harder to spot, Tyupkin malware only accepts commands at specific times on Sunday and Monday nights. During those hours the attackers are able to steal money from the infected machine", Kaspersky points out.
With the machine under control, the criminal can enter a unique digital code which can be used the make the withdrawal, and the code changes with each session. The code comes via a mobile phone from the person in control of the malware and is capable of generating the PIN. In other words, this is being done by gangs, not individual attackers.
The scam has been caught on video, as many ATMs have cameras. Kaspersky has turned this over to law enforcement and also alerted banks of the steps needed to prevent this type of attack.

Fwd: Sal Alinski's "Useful Idiots"
~~Thomas Jefferson"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government."
-- Thomas JeffersonIMPORTANT: If you forward this e-mail, please highlight and delete the forwarding history, which includes my e-mail address. Saul Alinsky's Eight Levels of Control: Anyone out there think that this
stuff isn't happening today in the U.S.?
His writings influenced those in political control of our nation today.
Recall that Hillary did her college thesis on his writings and Obama writes
about him in his books - Rules for Radicals, Reveille.
All eight rules are currently in play - How to Create a Social State by Saul
Alinsky. There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you
are able to create a social state. The first is the most important.
1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people.
2) Poverty - Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are
easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything
for them to live.
3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able
to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control- Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government.
That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and
Income).
6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to - take control
of what children learn in school.
7) Religion - Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.
8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This
will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy
with the support of the poor.
Does any of this sound like what is happening to the United States? Alinsky
merely simplified Vladimir Lenin's original scheme for world conquest by
communism, under Russian rule. Stalin described his converts as "Useful
Idiots." The Useful Idiots have destroyed every nation in which they have
seized power and control. It is presently happening at an alarming rate in
the U.S.
If people can read this and still say everything is just fine, they are
useful idiots themselves. "It is difficult to free fools from the chains
they revere."
